Event summary
With the advent of the new curriculum, Point of Care Ultrasound training and assessment will devolve to units to align it with other skills. Integral to this will be that each unit has at least one ultrasound lead.
This one day course is designed to upskill these future departmental leads and mentor them in the specifics of teaching and assessing ultrasound. It will also cover aspects of developing governance and the new sign off processes.
There will also be a core competencies course running in parallel that the trainers will teach on, supported by the faculty. Delegates will attend separate lectures and then join together for hands-on-training sessions throughout the day.
This event will take place at Core Technology Facility, University of Manchester, Grafton Street, Manchester, M13 9WU.
