Cambridge trauma futures: Excellent care of trauma patients

Cambridge trauma futures is a 2-day virtual conference aiming to provide a broad range of trauma topics for clinicians from all specialties and backgrounds involved in the care of trauma patients. It blends case-based discussions with cutting-edge current practice and future developments in trauma care delivered by the highest quality speakers.

The themes of this year’s programme included:

  • CT interpretation in trauma
  • maxillofacial trauma
  • AI modelling and its application
  • violence reduction
  • blood and coagulation in trauma
  • silver trauma
  • major trauma networks

Learning objectives:

  • To provide broad ranging trauma presentations relevant to those involved in frontline trauma care from a mix of backgrounds including doctors of all grades, nurses and ACPs
  • To provide a ‘roadside to recovery’ range of speakers and presentations
  • To provide a mix of clinical talks and allied presentations focussing on other relevant aspects of trauma care for example trauma aftercare.
