Venue
The 2025 EMSAS conference is a hybrid event. Delegates can join virtually or attend onsite at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cardiff, Meridian Gate, Bute Terrace, Cardiff CF10 2FL
Join us for this year’s EMSAS conference, once again taking place as a hybrid event with the face to face venue in Cardiff.
The programme is coming together with topics including:
- PEM
- HALO procedures
- Trauma management
- Cannabis for pain management
- Dealing with complaints
- The role of the medical examiner
- Rare presentations in the ED
- The overseas perspective
As well as these great sessions, there will also be the opportunity to present your own work, so if you have a QIP or research project, abstract submissions for the Andrew Newton Cup will be opening in the next few months.

Who should attend?
This event is tailored to SASG doctors, however all are welcome to attend.
Abstract submission
Abstract submissions for this event have now closed, and all submitters will be notified of the outcome from Monday 22 September.
Successful applicants will be required to register to attend the event.
RCEM is unable to reimburse travel expenses, accommodation or registration fees of successful abstract presenters.
Social event
We are delighted to invite you to the EMSAS conference dinner on the evening of Wednesday 12 November. This will take place at the Radisson Blu hotel. Tickets cost £55.50 and include a welcome drink, 3 course meal and drinks provided with dinner.
The local organising committee will also be organising an informal social event for the night prior to the conference, when registering please inform us whether you are happy for us to share your contact details with them so they can contact you directly regarding this.

Accommodation is not provided within your ticket price and needs to be booked independently if required.
