Cadaver airway course

The cadaver airway course offers hands-on training in direct and video laryngoscopy, video-assisted fibreoptic intubation, cricoid ultrasound, and surgical airway techniques using fresh frozen cadavers. Candidates perform high-risk procedures under close consultant supervision, fulfilling CST and HST requirements and gaining confidence for on-call scenarios. Each participant will complete multiple intubations using varied techniques.

Please note that not all candidates will get to do first attempt at surgical airway on cadaver.

Registration will close on Friday 12 June but may close earlier if capacity is reached.

  • Paediatric intubation (mannikin based)
