Commenting on the recent reports about the Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) scheme, Dr Catherine Hayhurst, Chair of the Mental Health Committee at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, said: “The Serenity Integrated Mentoring (SIM) project was innovative at its inception.
Emergency Department performance figures published today by NHS England for May 2021 show 1,396,193 patients attended Type 1 Emergency Departments, the second highest figure ever recorded.
