Returning to face-to-face conferencing with the theme of “Leaving a Legacy”, EMTA 2022 aims to celebrate some of our EM legends and provide a platform for up-and-coming trainee voices. Running across two days, the event will feature oral presentations, workshops, and a poster competition.

The deadline to submit your abstract is 7th September 2022 at 23:59.
EMTA’s annual conference offers trainees the chance to present original work at a national level.
For #EMTA22 we welcome any abstracts of relevance to the RCEM 2022 curriculum’s Specialty Learning Outcomes (SLOs).
All submissions will be reviewed and 9 successful applicants will be invited to give a 10 minute talk at the event, which will include 8 minutes of presentation and 2 minutes of Q&A with the delegates. Other successful applicants might be considered to submit their work as a poster to be displayed at the venue. All the applicants, whether successful or not, will be notified on the week of the 21 September 2022.
The oral presentations will take place on Wednesday 23 November. Successful applicants will have to register to attend the event on that day. They can also register to attend Day 1 on 22 November.
The posters will be displayed in the venue during the whole event. Successful poster presenters will have to register for Day 1 and bring their poster to the venue before 9:15 on Tuesday 22 November. They can also register to attend Day 2 on 23 November.
RCEM is unable to reimburse travel expenses, accommodation or registration fees of the successful abstract presenters or posters.
The best oral presentation and poster will be awarded prizes.
