The objective of the event is to provide high-quality CPD for emergency medicine (EM) trainees, as well as educational sessions on career opportunities as they progress through their training pathway.

Abstract submissions have now closed. We will notify all applicants, whether successful or unsuccessful, by email on the week of the 22nd January 2024.

Please note that RCEM is unable to reimburse travel expenses, accommodation or registration fees of the successful oral presenters or posters.

+ Conference dinner

The EMTA dinner will be held on Tuesday 27 February from 18:00 at St. James’ Park (Newcastle United FC).

If you haven’t registered for the dinner but would like to attend, please email events@rcem.ac.uk

The EMTA dinner includes:

  • Two course meal: Confit of duck leg, served with buttery fondant potato, braised savoy cabbage, smoked bacon, & a sweet sherry gravy, and sticky orange pudding, rich vanilla custard and caramelised orange sugar
  • Welcome drink: one glass of Prosecco
  • One alcoholic drink voucher or two non-alcoholic drink vouchers
  • Disco and music by The Elevation, the UK’s Finest Party Band!

The dress code is formal (black and white).

The ticket for the evening is £65 per person.
