Event Information

+ Event Summary

This event will help delegates understand what happens to patients in the prehospital setting before they arrive in the ED, including the limitations, innovations and how we can improve the PH-ED interface. It provides an insight into careers in PHEM: useful for clinicians considering working in PHEM or for Consultant Educational Supervisors supporting trainees with future career choices. The presentations also overlap with relevant topics to EM practice including psychology, end of life care, and recently published research. The GMC domains and curriculum details are as follows:

  • RCEM Curriculum 2021 Specialty Learning Outcomes: SLOs 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 10
