Pre-conference workshops

We are delighted to open the call for proposals for pre-conference workshops at our inaugural Annual Conference in 2026.

This is your opportunity to get involved with delivering high quality CPD and education to your emergency medicine community. If you have a topic you’re passionate about, want to share your expertise with peers or know engaging, interesting and exciting speakers who can inspire and educate others then we want to hear from you!

We are looking for up to 3 pre-conference workshops which will be held on Monday 27 April in central Birmingham.

To submit your idea, please complete the form below and send it to events@rcem.ac.uk by Tuesday 30 September.

Please complete the form with as much detail as possible, we have a limited number of spaces available so incomplete forms may not be considered. We are looking for a full planned programme with topics and timings, as well as details of what each session of the event will cover. Whilst we appreciate you may not be able to confirm your speakers at this stage, we would like to see who you would like to speak at the event, what talk(s) they will cover and understand their expertise in the area.

We welcome proposals on any topic, clinical or non-clinical, and will be considering the breadth of appeal and relevance to the EM community when deciding which proposals to accept.

All successful proposals will need to break-even financially, ensuring they cover all venue, catering and speaker expense costs. This is mandated by the College’s Trustee Board for all College activities, and will be a key consideration for the review panel.
