Conference sponsorship scheme for delegates based in low- and middle-income countries

The College is excited to announce the launch of a sponsorship scheme for delegates that are native of middle-income countries and low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank).

Application criteria

To apply for a free virtual ticket for the Spring CPD Conference, candidates must:

  1. Meet the eligibility criteria
    • Be pursuing a career in emergency medicine (EM)
    • Be native of a low- or middle-income country as defined by the World Bank
    • Be practising or training in their native country
  1. Provide details of your education and work history
  1. Provide a letter from your current hospital or emergency medicine society confirming they support your application. This letter should confirm that your organisation is happy for you to attend this specific conference (RCEM CPD 2025) virtually and that it will benefit you and your organisation.

Please note, we are unable to consider applications that do not have a letter of support.

For the purpose of processing applications personal details will be shared with reviewers.

Details will be deleted 6-months after the application deadline.

Deadlines and timelines

The deadline for applications is Monday 27 January 2025 at 09:00 GMT.

All submissions will be reviewed and applicants will be notified via email whether they have been successful or not on or after Monday 10 February 2025.

RCEM international partnerships

If you are part of one of the following partnerships you are automatically eligible for a free virtual place to attend the conference and you do not need to apply:

  • EMFP
  • Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons partnership
  • NW Syria – SBOMS partnership
  • Uganda SCALE partnership
  • WACP
  • ASEMHP
  • SEMPON

Your joining details will be sent to you by email in the week prior to the conference.
