A new Quality Improvement (QI) Portal will be launched in January 2025 to enhance the experience of Emergency Departments registering for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine’s (RCEM) Quality Improvement Programmes (QIPs).
The bespoke platform (pictured above) is part of RCEM’s ongoing commitment to enhancing QIPs for Type 1 Emergency Departments (EDs) to improve the quality of care in emergency settings.
The new QI Portal has an enhanced user experience developed from RCEM’s extensive experience in leading Emergency Medicine (EM) QIPs and incorporates valuable feedback from our its previous QIP ED teams.
The 2025 QIPs available for registration with the new portal include:
RCEM’s QI Portal has a user-friendly experience and provides ongoing guidance through annual webinars and other resources that support quarterly check-ins. This provides QIP ED teams with sustained growth over the course of the programme as they continually build upon the increasing standards of care being achieved with patients.
