The College would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the cancellation of the MRCEM OSCE in March 2021.
We understand the frustration this will cause for those who were scheduled to take the exam.
The decision was made based on concerns regarding travel whilst the travel restrictions are still imposed as per the public health and Government guidelines, and the availability of examiners at such a time.We recognise the disappointment those scheduled to take the exams will face, it was a difficult decision for the Examinations Subcommittee to take, especially after working so hard to obtain GMC approval as well as working on the logistics to make the examination covid-secure.
Affected candidates have been informed and they will receive further information on the transfer of their examination place.
