Dr Adrian Boyle, President of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine said:
“We are delighted that The College of Paramedics has been granted the Charter of Incorporation by His Majesty King Charles III.
“They are hugely deserving of this accolade for their continuous effort to champion the paramedic profession and promote safety, collegiality, inclusiveness, wellbeing and innovation.
“RCEM and our members work closely with paramedics and a number of our Advanced Care Practitioners started their careers as paramedics. Both Colleges work tirelessly to
improve care for the most seriously ill and injured people.
“We look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship, united in our aim of improving standards in Emergency Care.”
