RCEM to fund places on Fellowship designed to support working parents in the NHS

Are you a parent working in the NHS that would be interested in career development and support to help balance the demands work and home life?

RCEM is part funding ten places on a Fellowship designed to provide the expertise and support to help you find your own path to fulfilment at work and at home.

The six-month Leaders Plus NHS Fellowship, which is accredited by the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) is accessible to clinical and non-clinical colleagues from any speciality.

Gordon Miles, Chief Executive of The Royal College of Emergency Medicine said: “We are proud to be able to offer some part funded places to our membership again this year.

“The feedback we have received from previous Leaders Plus Fellows is very positive so I very much hope that our places are snapped up again this year.”

As part of the Programme, you’ll get expert career development support, group coaching, a supportive network of peers and practical support to overcome work/life hurdles. It has been described by some NHS Fellows as “life-transforming!”

You can attend a mix of online and face-to-face sessions and the rough time commitment is about half a day a month.
