Global emergency care: Convergence of conflict, catastrophe, contagion and climate change

Friday 20 November 2026 | Virtual event | RCEM accredited for 6-CPD points

Globally there is increasing frequency, severity and spread of conflict, infectious disease outbreaks and natural and human made disasters all of which may be potentiated by climate change. Emergency care practitioners require an understanding of global emergency care for their UK practice.

Those who choose to volunteer and work in humanitarian contexts must be prepared and understand the organisations, frameworks, resources and guidance to optimise their capacity building and emergency response activities. This event will help participants build the knowledge and preparedness to contribute to emergency and humanitarian healthcare settings.

Please note, registration for this event will close at 8:00 on Friday 20 November.
