+ Event summary

The 2024 EMSAS conference is being held in Scarborough on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 November. We would love to see you there in-person so you can take advantage of the networking opportunities, but if you can’t make it to Scarborough then we’ve got you covered with the option to attend virtually too.

The two day programme will include:

  • Keynote sessions from inspiring speakers
  • CPD focussed talks to refresh and develop your knowledge as a SAS grade clinician
  • Updates from the EMSAS executive committee
  • Presentation from the RCEM President, Dr Adrian Boyle
  • Andrew Newton Cup presentations exploring the research taking place within the EMSAS community

You will be able to attend an evening social event which provides a great opportunity for you to get to know other SAS grade doctors from around the country, building and developing your own networks.

Dr Jo-Anna Robson, an EM Associate Specialist in Southport and Ormskirk Hospital, who frequently attends EMSAS events, said the thing she is looking forward to most about the conference is ‘Networking with other ED clinicians to share experiences and solutions, education updates, and involvement in discussion around SAS role within both ED and RCEM.’

Please note, face-to-face registration will close on Wednesday 6 November, but may close earlier if capacity is reached.

Virtual registration will close on Wednesday 13 November at 08:00.
