The College is looking for recent research/QIPs/audits on adolescents: submit your project and share it at the RCEM ‘Adolescents in the ED: the forgotten tribe’ virtual study day on 8 March.

If you have carried out research (survey, QIP, audit, or similar) or made changes to guidelines, policies, or the layout of your department, with the interests of adolescents in mind, we would love to hear about it. Send us your abstract and If successful you will be invited to deliver a 5-minute presentation and will have the opportunity to showcase your work to like-minded peers.

Learning Objectives
• Define the key themes in acute adolescent medicine
• Describe treatment options for acute mental and sexual health conditions
• Review current approaches to address the safeguarding needs of young people
• Explore different communication approaches to use with young people
• Review the important components of consent and capacity as relating to young people

Log-in instructions to join the live event will be sent to registered delegates the week of the event. Registered delegates will have access to content for 6 months after the live date.
