Information for prospective and current RCEM examiners

Become an Examiner

The RCEM examiner role provides a fulfilling prospect for professional development, engaging with fellow clinicians, RCEM staff and lay people across the four UK nations and internationally.

Examiners are responsible for upholding excellent standards of RCEM exams, ensuring reliability, fairness, inclusivity, equality and diversity throughout practices. They are experts on the RCEM curriculum, informing the creation and delivery of high quality, relevant and up to date exam content.

The College welcomes applications from individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. Full details of the roles and responsibilities of each grade of examiner, as well as the person specifications, are available in the Examiner Regulations Pack.

Once you have read the regulations, and confirmed you meet the requirements, please follow the link to submit an application.
