Frequently Asked Questions

+ How do I book my place at the Conference?

Please click here to start your registration. When registering you will be able to decide whether you want to book a virtual or face-to-face ticket for the conference.

For face-to-face tickets, registration will close on Monday 20 April at 23:59 (BST). Please note, registration may close earlier if the venue capacity has been reached.

For virtual tickets, registration will close on Tuesday 28 April at 07:00 (BST).

+ Is this a face-to-face or virtual event?

This event is taking place as a face-to-face event at The ICC Birmingham.

The conference will be live-streamed for people who wish to attend virtually, through our bespoke virtual event platform. Please note, only tracks 1 and 2 of the conference will be available to access virtually.

+ When and where will the face-to-face event take place?

The conference will take place on 28 – 30 April 2026.

+ Do I need to download specific software to attend the virtual event?

You do not need to download any software. You will be emailed a login for the virtual event platform, which we recommend you access through an up-to-date version of Google Chrome.

There will also be an app version of the platform available should you wish to download it. To download this, visit either the Apple App Store or Google Play store and search for RCEM Events.

All audience questions for speakers, and any polling will happen via the virtual platform for both onsite and virtual delegates. We, therefore, recommend bringing a smartphone or tablet onsite if you are attending in person to enable you to participate fully in the event.

+ Will the sessions be recorded and available on-demand?

Tracks 1 and 2 of the conference will be available online for the virtual delegates to watch and will be available for all delegates on demand for 12-months post event.

Tracks 3 and 4 of the conference will not be available for virtual delegates or be available on demand.

+ How do I receive my CPD certificate of attendance?

Certificates will be emailed to all attendees 10 working days after the event.

If you attend face-to-face then this certificate will reflect each day that you had your onsite badge scanned for. Please note, we are only able to provide certificates for those days which you have scanned in for, so do ensure you scan your badge for each day that you attend the conference.

If you attend virtually then this certificate will reflect each day that you signed in to the virtual platform with your personal account.

+ Are young children welcome at the event?

Yes, we welcome young children onsite to our conferences. Parents or carers are welcome to watch the conference from the main conference room with the other delegates.

Alternatively, we have a family room onsite with a livestream of the conference so parents or carers will not miss content when in there. There will be onsite access to a fridge should you wish to store any baby food or breastmilk.
