RCEM is working on a range of initiatives sponsored by the Home Office to enhance the quality of data relating to serious violence injury collected by NHS Emergency Departments in England.

This event hosted by the West Midlands regional RCEM board on Wednesday 22 January, at ICC Birmingham, will enable Violence Reduction Unit personnel, ICB representatives, emergency physicians and other emergency medicine clinical staff and stakeholders to come together to learn more about the latest developments with this work.

The afternoon sessions feature regional teaching on haematology, trauma and transfusion medicine.

  • EM clinicians with an interest in assisting with data collection to support the reduction of serious violence injury
  • Clerical staff who may support with data collection in EDs
