Dr Sally-Anne Wilson has officially taken up the post of Yorkshire and Humber Regional Chair for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Dr Wilson, Emergency Medicine Consultant at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Quality and Safety Lead at the Yorkshire and Humber Improvement Academy, has officially taken up her post today as the new Regional Chair for Yorkshire and Humber.
Dr Sally-Anne Wilson said, “I am thrilled to be appointed to this post – I have represented and worked alongside RCEM for many years now and I am looking forward to taking on the Regional Chair role and representing all members in the region.
“My aims are to increase engagement between the College and the region and to ensure that I am accurately representing the interests and concerns of those working in Yorkshire and Humber.
“I hope to set up a regional network that features the broad representation of Emergency Medicine in the region. I want to ensure that there is a strong two-way conversation with RCEM, and therefore I plan to distribute regional bulletins and host events that will allow greater insight into the work of the College but also the important work being carried out in Emergency Medicine.”
The College is pleased to announce Dr Wilson and wishes her every success in her new role.
