The European Society for Emergency Medicine (EuSEM) is a non-profit making scientific organisation whose aim is to promote and foster the concept, philosophy and the art of Emergency Medicine throughout Europe. The ultimate objective of the Society is to help and support European nations to achieve the specialty of Emergency Medicine.

The Royal College of Emergency Medicine is a National Society Member of EuSEM.

The European Emergency Medicine Congress (EuSEM) is an annual congress for healthcare professionals working in emergency medicine. The congress attracts over 3000 Emergency Medicine specialists from around the world. There are opportunities to learn about the new developments in emergency medicine, share best practices and network with like minded people.
